Inventive use of internationally acclaimed vision system hardware has won a Warwickshire-based business two awards.

Bytronic Automation, Henley-in-Arden’s newest technology business, is celebrating two victories this January with achievement awards from Cognex’s international partner programme.

Innovative vision system project planning, high-quality execution and a strong reputation have enabled Bytronic to win third prize in two categories. Cognex sets commercial targets for its partners, and Bytronic’s impressive performance in 2012 has paid off.

The two awards, for partner involvement and performance, are based upon the commercial actions taken by partners to reach their goals and upon the partner’s turnover target for the year. Bytronic’s singular approach to project planning, together with great results and a strong reputation, has enabled it to grow its business and contribute to Cognex’s global success.

John Dunlop and Andrew Edge, Bytronic’s directors, said: “We are very pleased to have achieved these awards. They are a testament to the hard work of the Bytronic team and a reflection of some of the unusual projects we’ve undertaken in the past year.

“We are proud that much of our success comes from our ability to take ‘impossible’ problems and devise inventive solutions. We like it when Cognex brings us a client who is unable to find a solution to their issues anywhere else!”

The Warwickshire-based company’s continued hard work and global presence has enabled them to expand the business. In October last year, Bytronic bought its own premises in Henley-in-Arden, and plans to expand further in the coming months.

Cognex is a multinational company supplying cameras, sensors and software for machine vision and inspection systems. The organisation works with a huge number of partners all around the world, each of which must meet Cognex’s exacting standards.

Bytronic continues to be a valued partner of Cognex, building upon an already strong reputation as an international expert in machine vision and inspection systems.

Bytronic’s unique expertise in vision systems and lean manufacturing has led them to issue an open challenge: Vision Impossible? Their engineers have overcome many an ‘impossible problem’ and they welcome a challenge.
