Bytronic will be exhibiting at the Smart Factory Expo this November, demonstrating how intelligent vision is revolutionising manufacturing and transforming productivity, to make previously impossible inspections possible.

Our team of experts will be on stand C24 at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre on November 16th and 17th showing how automated vision inspection is helping the world’s largest manufacturers to predict the future. By combining the latest vision technologies with powerful data and predictive insights, we are helping the factory of the future to optimise production and identify future opportunities (image credit: Smart Factory Expo).

Machine vision, thermal imaging, deep learning and edge computing offer huge opportunities to support the exciting and growing industries of tomorrow, from EV and battery storage to automation and robotics. We will be demonstrating the power and potential of these technologies during the two-day show.

Vision inspection and the factory of the future

The factory of the future is facing huge challenges from rising costs and falling head counts. Autonomous, ‘lights-out’ manufacturing will be the only real way to remain competitive and thrive with a smaller, costlier labour force.

We use vision intelligence to help organisations monitor and optimise manufacturing lines before, during and after production, helping companies compare the performance of production lines across single sites or whole continents.  Our vision inspection systems combine deep learning, thermal imaging, and 2D and 3D inspections to create continuous feedback on what ‘good’ looks like between single machines, multiple lines or different factories anywhere in the world – managing and optimising productivity globally.

At the show, we will be showing a range of solutions include visual inspections that use deep learning to inspect products for size, colour or quantity; thermal inspections of product temperature or seal integrity to predict future maintenance and minimise downtime; inspecting product seal integrity for conformity, contamination or product safety and barcode or label inspection and validation for shipping.

Now in its seventh year, the Smart Factory Expo covers the full range of technologies that help digital manufacturing to thrive – all under one roof. The event – part of Digital Manufacturing Week 2022 – will explore cutting-edge industrial solutions, from automation & robotics and digital transformation to industrial data, AI, IIoT, connectivity and smart infrastructure.
